Loved this place...kept coming back. The food is excellent along with the servers and atmosphere. You are not in the US, quite thinking you should be waited on as if you're the most important person in the place. Relax enjoy the experience, food, and culture, it's different.... Go figure.
Accommodating staff, good snails. A wonderful first experience of some Parisian culture.
Restaurant specialises in sea food but also serves excellent meat dishes. If you are looking for a typical Parisian bistro this is the place to go. The food is very good and a great selection of dishes from big oyster dishes or selection of shellfish to the charolais hamburger all were very tasty. Service professional and friendly and top the evening with a nice crepe.
The food is delicious and the waiters are very kind and friendly. If you want to have a nice dinner near the Eiffel Tower I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food is always yummy (and very french). The service is friendly (for Paris). This place is a true classic. I will come back time and time again. I had an excellent salade niçoise here in the summer but it was a seasonal item. The beef tartare (a permanent menu fixture) is 👌🏼💯
They have the most heavenly perfect creme brulee ❤️
Burgers tastes amazing when drunk.
Way too expensive for what you will get. The waiter served us a different beer than we ordered, but insisted it was the beer we ordered (it was definitely not) instead of double checking. There are too many tables and seats in front of the cafe, which makes it very hard to get around. The waiters are also a bit pushy. Go somewhere else if you can.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly even with our extremely limited lack of knowledge of the French language. The food was wonderful and had a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop to try some great French classic dishes!
Had my very first meal in France here. The staff was welcoming, our waitress was extremely kind even though the place was very busy and she seemed to be the only server in our section. The tables were very close together but we did not mind it added to the atmosphere and the people watching. They have a very extensive menu, we asked for one in English which they have and were happy to provide. Our first meal did not disappoint and we thoroughly enjoyed.
Good service. The French onion soup was nice. Open later than some of the other restaurants in the area.
Great food, friendly staff, and they spoke English. Beer was frothy and delicious as was EVERYTHING in the Suffren combo plate. Great place for seafood
We had new year's Eve dinner here and highly recommend it. Service food and wines were all fantastic
Highly recommend! Absolutely delicious place to break and eat after walking/sight-seeing. Customer service was good, food flavor was on point, and they were extremely fast. Definitely will visit again when we’re here from the US!
The best onion soup in Paris!Recommend it for those who are lost in fhe variety of french restaurants.
Service was good. But i asked for my burger medium well done and the center was still uncooked. It was very off putting.
Authentic dishes, great service, great experience
Amazing seefood in champ mars, amazing servixe, nice location.
we came here one morning on a walk we made to the Eiffel Tower and i highly suggest if you want a good breakfast at a great price. for the most part we tried to stay away from food places near tourist attractions because they were either busy or too expensive but this place was neither! i'm glad we ended up coming here because we were starving at the time and suggest you to come here for their breakfast options
The best place, close to Eifel tower, best red wife we can to drink here, one glass is cost 4 euro
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very busy even on a Thursday night, but has a casual atmosphere. The oysters tasted fresh and all the food was amazing!
Fantastic food and service I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner with friends and family we are on holidays and after a long day sightseeing it was exactly what we wanted and its only five minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower
Nice restaurant, friendly staff and tasty food. Recommend!
Ohh. The wonderful location! Food was delicious. Polite waiters!)I can hardly wait to get back to Paris and see you : )
They know how to adapt to American tourists' preferences and expectations without compromising on quality of food or quality of service. A French restaurant, but also an international restaurant. The enclosure with heat near the sidewalk makes for Parisian-style people-watching but does not allow smoking, making it the best of both worlds.
Great food, moderate prices, cordial staff.
Its a very good restaurant for - 1. Good french food. 2. Lovely cocktails. 3. Nice quality beers. 3. Good service.
Good and cheap 9-13 € breakfast. Very fast serving and tasty treats. I stayed 4 days in paris and had breakfast 4 times here.
The food was okay, but waiters are too bad. I don’t recommend you to go there if you’re racial minorities in order not to get offended by discrimination. If not, it might be fine cuz I saw them serving fairly nice to white English speaking customers , right next to us, English speaking Asians. They’re just biased, and not at all equipped with service technics. You can perfectly trust the other 1 star reviews posted in this feed because that’s exactly what they did to us in the same manner.
Food was good. Service was great.
We loved this place. We walked by it a ton of times before trying it. So glad we did. This place has really good Onion soup, and we tried several places. We all liked our main dishes. The wait staff was awesome. Yes, they seem to have a lot of regular customers that they pay attention to. But they were great with us. They joked around, answered questions, and generally did a fantastic job serving my family. It gets very busy after 1800. We walked up at about 1800 and got a table, and within a few minutes it was full with people waiting. I really liked the way the seating worked. We had an inside table, but it was close to the outdoor tables, and felt like we were outside. Highly recommend it. I will be back.
Great option for a not expensive dinner in Paris. Very kindfull atention and a variety of dishes from Frech gastronomy.
Nice French Brasserie in classic style. A dying type of business. Fresh food, good wine served by professional waiters who may or may not have a personality! I like it hence 5 stars. Great location, clean tables and toilets and sufficient food.
Only had a quick coffee here but they were very very wonderful and the service was great
Amazing service and food !
Great atmosphere resturant/bar at the end of the park near Eiffel Tower. The service was definitely the highlight of our experience. We ordered the snails and onion soup as starters. When in Paris it's a must try & we did enjoy it. For mains we ordered a chicken salad and pasta which weren't to our standard but wasn't bad. Overall good experience & nice place to relax.
It was excellent place we landed by occasion. They immediately found the table despite of it was really busy by locals at lunch. Service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious - traditional and international one. Prices are average - Eur 20 with wine. I do recommend that restaurant.
Great restaurant and so close to Eiffel Tower. It was very busy while we were there on a Tuesday night so it must be popular all the time. With its location so close to the tower, the prices reflect that, but for us it was worth it. We only had 1 dinner in Paris. We enjoyed a huge pot of mussels with cream sauce that we LOVED and than 6 oysters. The servers had a great personality at this place. We were shocked at how fast the food came out. We suggest it to everyone!
Nice place with prompt service. Nice warm people with even better food.
Dropped in for a quick lunch after seeing the Eiffel Tower. Both my wife and I went for the onion soup, which I would highly recommend. The waiter suggested a wine to pair which I never would have gone for (a red, deliberately served cool) that nevertheless went excellently with the meal. The atmosphere was pleasantly bustling and the service jovial. The prices were as you'd expect in central Paris. Overall, very much enjoyed the experience.
Had a quick breakfast, excellent food quick friendly service
A classical Parisian brasserie. Great ambience, lovely cocktails, interesting looking diners, great food, good service (mostly!) What more to desire?
Fantastic dinner here with some really stunning food & staff that couldn't look after us more. Really impressed.
Seriously one of the best finds for informal restaurant food in Paris. Clean, delicious, well priced, and efficient polite wait staff. Seafood is freshly prepared in view, and desserts prepared by waiters at table. Not fine food, but all the French classics done well. Recommended by the hotel concierge, and we agreed. You won’t be disappointed.
You should order a table early because it gets very busy between 18:00-21:00! The place looks very cute but the ambience is not so nice. They let you wait long to order, the food comes too fast.... The side dishes are mostly too hot , so take care you do not burn your tongue! The meat is good, but they do not know medium, it was a piece of leather. Not enough space to sit!
The service wasn‘t too friendly. They often had longer chats with other guests that they seemed to know already. All in one the food was okay. For starters we had a french onion soup and snails. The snails were good, but nothing outstanding. The soup was kind of like an onion-brew topped off with bread and cheese. We actually imagined kind of like a soup with cream instead of a brew. It‘s also kind of special with the bread and cheese and we didn‘t really enjoy it. For our mains we had chicken with fries and a little salad and a rib eye steak with potato gratin and green beans. The chicken was good but the fries were soaked with salad sauce which was kinda gross. The steak, beans and gratin were good nothing outstanding. The price point is rather high but okay. If you want to try the french kitchen it‘s good but were not sure if they have any outstanding dishes.
Had really nice French onion soup. Not super cheap but not totally expensive. 2 soups, 1 small salad, 1 beer, 1 glass of wine, 1 coffee for 40€.
I went there because of oysters and is close from the Eiffel tower. So I ordered 6 raw big oysters and a veal for dinner. The veal was so so. And only 2 oysters were good sizes. (Of course, the shells were big.) The rest were very thin and didn't look fresh. I love oysters so that I know the qualities. In the middle of the night, I woke up with diarrhea! What a great way to ruin my first dinner experience in Paris!
Lovely atmosphere. Excellent bottle of white burgundy. Enjoyed my onion soup very much but have to take off a point for wife’s roast chicken.
Nice food. Tidy place. Toilets clean(rare in Paris I've found)
